Christian Tamburr

Christian Tamburr is an internationally touring vibraphonist and pianist.

He currently leads the critically acclaimed Christian Tamburr Quintet headlining major festivals and concerts halls globally with frequent appearances at Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola at Lincoln Center NYC and The Kennedy Center in Washington DC. He has performed and toured with such jazz luminaries as Dave Brubeck, Clark Terry, James Moody, Kenny Barron, Milt Hinton, Rene Marie, Ann Hampton Callaway, Benny Green and Bucky Pizarelli. Christian has worked as musical director for Julio Iglesias, Cirque du Soleil and currently arranges and conducts for vocalist Clint Holmes.

His diverse background in business led to the development of Christian's company Sonic Leadership, which presents musically inspired training seminars to business executives at companies throughout the US.

Christian is on staff as the 2014/2015 Artist in Residence at the Florida Institute of Technology where he presents artists from around the world through his seasonal concert series and outreach performances to the local public school band programs.
